STEPS FOR COMPLETING ONLINE APPRAISER EDUCATION COURSES PROVIDED BY HONDROS LEARNING
STEP 1. COMPLETE YOUR COURSE MATERIALS. Complete all computer course modules within 180 days from the date of purchase. Should you have any questions regarding the course content, the course instructor, Wade Gaddy (770) 631-1000, will be glad to assist you.
STEP 2. SUBMIT YOUR ELECTRONIC AFFIDAVIT PRIOR TO THE COURSE EXPIRATION DATE. Upon completion of a course, an electronic affidavit will display on your screen which must be submitted PRIOR to your course expiration date. Georgia MLS Training Institute must be able to verify that you submitted your electronic affidavit.
STEP 3. CERTIFICATION Upon completion of a course (excluding Salesperson Prelicense courses), your certification information is sent electronically to the Georgia Real Estate Commission within two business days from the date it was received. You will not receive a certificate. Contact the GREC to verify receipt of your hours by calling 404-656-3916 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, or visit their website at www.grec.state.ga.us.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
METHODS OF INSTRUCTION AND INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION The method of instruction used in the course is computer-based. All course material is provided in the form of an interactive tutorial on the computer and does not require in-class hours. Should you have any questions regarding the course content, the course instructor, Wade Gaddy (770) 631-1000, will be glad to assist you.
ATTENDANCE Because the courses are approved and administered as computer-based courses, they do not require a set class schedule. Consequently, the attendance policy requires only that you complete all course requirements previously set forth.
HOMEWORK Required homework assignments (if applicable) must be completed satisfactorily before taking a school final examination (if required). Georgia MLS Training Institute must be able to verify that you submitted your electronic affidavit.
COURSE COMPLETION All Hondros Learning courses must be completed within 180 days from the date of purchase.
FINAL EXAMINATION Only the Salesperson Prelicense, Postlicense, Broker Prelicense, and Appraiser Qualifying courses require a final examination. Georgia MLS Training Institute must be able to verify that you submitted your electronic affidavit and completed the required homework (if applicable) BEFORE you are allowed to sit for a final examination. All testing must be completed within one (1) year from the date of purchase.
GRADING You are required to complete all lessons on the computer. If the course requires a final examination, you must achieve a 75% or better to pass.
NOTICE TO STUDENTS REGARDING STATEMENT OF SCHOOL POLICY
SCHOOL INFORMATION AND APPROVAL Georgia MLS Training Institute is an approved real estate school by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for the purpose of offering salesperson prelicense, broker prelicense, postlicense, and continuing education courses. Our school approval code is 228 and the renewal date is December 31, 2011. Georgia MLS Training Institute is also an approved appraisal school by the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board for the purpose of offering Appraiser Qualifying courses and a variety of appraisal continuing education courses. Our school approval code is 016 and the renewal date is December 31, 2008.

RECRUITING No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed on the school premises. Report promptly any effort to recruit by anyone to Georgia MLS Training Institute Director at (770) 493-9000 or the Georgia Real Estate Commission at (404) 656-3916. REFUNDS Continuing education and postlicense computer-based fees are non-refundable. Prelicense course fees are refundable within seven (7) calendar days of purchase. Upon receipt of course materials, a credit will be issued. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges. No refunds will be made after seven (7) calendar days of purchase. Tuition is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
NON-DISCRIMINATION Georgia MLS Training Institute will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial, or handicap status in the establishment of fees, entrance qualifications, or standards for successful completion of any course.
RETURNED CHECKS Any applicant who has a returned check due to insufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 service charge.
CHANGES Scheduled dates, locations, policies and prices are subject to change without notice. The Georgia MLS policies stated here supersede the Hondros Learning policies that are provided within the course.
ENROLLMENT TRANSFER No student may transfer his/her enrollment application and/or paid tuition to another student or to a different course.
SCHOOL RECORDS Georgia MLS Training Institute will maintain the following information in each student record for a period of at least five years: student's name, address, real estate and/or appraiser license number, date of enrollment, course title, and records reflecting attendance and certifying score.
